"I had the pleasure of working with Hugo while engaged in our S&OP and IBP initiative. During this initiative, I had a very small team. We needed to build a strong supply chain planning team. I was relatively new in my role as VP of Supply Chain at my company. We had to build trust and confidence in planning as a strategic role. That involved both reworking processes as well as use the right type of data points.
Hugo was a tremendous resource. Not only did he help to educate me on better and more updated processes, but he assisted in helping to interview candidates for the group. He has both a broad a deep understanding of supply chain functional roles. In addition, his understanding of the data required within in group and for key metrics in a variety of roles even outside of planning helped us put together our analytics modules.
Without his expertise and help, I believe that we would not have been able to get these metrics front and center in our process across the entire team. My company was new to these processes and approach and therefore education cross-functionally had to take place for adoption to the change. Hugo was critical in leading this for me as I built up the planning organization. If there is another opportunity to engage with Hugo in another project, I would not hesitate at all"
